まだ洗練しきる前のクラシックな意匠と使いやすい機械を備えたこちらのシーマスター。厚みと外径のバランスが絶妙で、無骨ながらもアンティークらしい趣が感じられるモデルです。広めのベゼルとぽってりとカーブしたラグが特徴です。ブラックミラーダイヤルには、ミニッツトラックやクロスライン、Seamaster表記が全てギルトで描かれています。多面カットのインデックスとノンデイト仕様により、シンメトリーなフェイスデザインが楽しめます。センターに稜線を引いたドルフィンハンドが採用されており、ブレスレットはビーズオブライスRef.1036、エンドリンク11です。

このシーマスターは、その状態の良さが際立っています。この世代のブラックミラーダイヤルは、経年変化により質感が劣化していることが多いですが、こちらはパーフェクトな艶を保っています。針やインデックスもくすみがなく素晴らしいコンディションです。ケースの良さが、この上質なダイヤルをさらに引き立てています。小傷はあるものの、全体として清潔感があり、フォーマルやスーツスタイルにも合わせやすい時計です。ブレスレットは当時のテーパーが残る固定リンク6-9個で構成されています。弊社にて分解掃除済みですので、ご購入後すぐにご使用いただけます。

1960年代に入り、日付表示が主流となった中で、シーマスターケースで日付のないモデルのRef.14779やRef.165.009は生産数が非常に少ないです。特に後年の6桁リファレンスであるパーフェクトなブラックミラーを搭載したRef.165.009は、弊社でも初めての取り扱いです。ノンデイトの自動巻で精度も素晴らしく、希少性が高く扱いやすいヴィンテージウォッチの一つです。

This Seamaster combines classic design elements with user-friendly mechanics, featuring an exquisite balance between thickness and diameter. The rugged yet vintage character is evident, with a wide bezel and rounded lugs. The black mirror dial is adorned with gilt minute tracks, cross lines, and the Seamaster logo. Multi-faceted indices and a no-date design provide a symmetrical face. The dolphin hands with a central ridge add to its charm. The bracelet is the beads-of-rice type, Ref.1036, with end links 11.

The exceptional condition of this Seamaster stands out. Most black mirror dials from this era show deterioration due to ageing, but this one maintains a perfect gloss. The hands and indices are free from tarnish and in superb condition. The case further enhances the beauty of this high-quality dial. There are minor scratches, but overall, it is clean and suitable for formal or business wear. The bracelet retains the original taper from the time of release, composed of fixed links 6-9. In the 1960s, date displays became the norm, making date-free models in the Seamaster case, such as Ref.14779 or Ref.165.009, extremely rare. Particularly noteworthy is the later six-digit reference, Ref.165.009, with a perfect black mirror dial, which is our first time handling this model. The non-date automatic movement boasts excellent accuracy, making this one of the rarest and most user-friendly vintage watches available.
