COMMENT

オメガ1970年前後に出現したモデルライン、ジュネーブアドミラルティです。こちらはイカリマークのあるタイプとなります。操作のしやすい大型の竜頭、リューズガード、スクリューバックを採用しており、ミリタリーモデルのテイストが感じられます。ケースメーカーはスーパーコンプレッサーなど防水性に優れたケースを開発していたEPSA（Ervin Piquerez SA）製。裏蓋の内側にはダイビングベルをデフォルメした刻印が見られます。ダイヤルはトーンの高いホワイト。強調されたスクエアインデックスやハンドのブラックプリントとオレンジのセンター秒針がよく映えています。搭載ムーブメントはオメガの中でも最も円熟した時代に作られたCal.565を搭載しています。リューズの二段引きによる日付の早送りが搭載され、日常使いしやすいです。

ケースはエッジの立った素晴らしいプロポーションです。細かく古傷が見られるものの、風格を増しています。ダイヤルは大変ミントです。ホワイトのを発色よく残しており、評価できます。プリントの針は色抜けがなく、当時のままを保っています。半球状のルミナスは形を保っており、ベージュ焼けの色味が良いです。 弊社にて分解掃除済みで48時間のパワーリザーブを確認しています。

イタリア語で「イカリ」という、ペットネームが付いています。当時は本格的なダイバーズウォッチなどのスポーツウォッチは既に存在していましたが、このモデルのようにライトなスポーツモデルは珍しく、OMEGAらしいアプローチが魅力です。

＜Geneve（ジュネーブ）＞シリーズは、コンステレーション、デビル、スピードマスター、シーマスターなどのシリーズの中でエントリーモデルとして1964年に登場。エントリーモデルとはいえ、発売当時の国産機械式時計などと比べるとはるかに高性能で、高価な時計でした。デザイン性が高く、メンズ、レディス共に都会的でスタイリッシュなモデルが多いラインです。現在では生産されていないモデルのため、アンティークでしか味わえない魅力があります。
