ノンデイト仕様の自動巻きモデル、Ref.1002。エンジンターンドベゼルのRef.1003に対し、こちらはスムースベゼルを備え、より簡潔で洗練された佇まいを見せます。薄型ケースに丸みを帯びたドーム型プラスチック風防を組み合わせることで、ヴィンテージならではの柔らかな装着感を実現。シルバーのサンレイダイヤルにドーフィンハンドとバーインデックスを配し、さらに青焼きのセンターセコンドを組み合わせた意匠は、1960年代初頭までに見られるディテールです。ブレスレットはリベットオイスターで、エンドリンク57、クラスプデイト1/63を備えています。

Ref. 1002 is a no-date automatic model that embodies clarity and restraint. In contrast to Ref. 1003 with its engine-turned bezel, this example features a smooth bezel, presenting a more refined and understated profile. The slim case paired with a gently domed acrylic crystal offers the soft, wrist-hugging feel unique to vintage Rolex. A silver sunburst dial is complemented by dauphine hands and applied bar indexes, further distinguished by a blued center seconds hand—an early detail seen through the beginning of the 1960s. The riveted Oyster bracelet is fitted with end links 57 and clasp dated 1/63, forming a period-consistent configuration.

At its core is the chronometer-certified Cal. 1560, a movement emblematic of Rolex reliability. Known for its precision and durability, it remained in production for many years as a thoroughly refined caliber. Slightly more compact than the Datejust, the case proportions offer balanced wearability well suited to daily use.

The case shows minimal signs of wear overall and maintains well-proportioned features. The grooves and hairline finish on the case back are clearly visible, indicating excellent preservation. The dial shows minimal signs of aging and retains its beautiful silver color. The blue second hand retains its color and emits a delicate shimmer when it catches the light. The indices and logo are also in good condition, giving the watch an overall clean appearance. This watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.
