ZENITH Wrist Alarm

COMMENT

腕時計アラーム。創業者が存命中、ゼニスは目覚まし時計のムーブメントを開発し、当初は懐中時計として販売されました。これを基に、同社は比較的大きな腕時計ケースにも同じムーブメントを搭載することにしました。これらの腕時計アラーム時計は、文字盤に2つのサブダイヤルを追加したため、見た目はクロノグラフのように見えました。ムーブメントには2つのゼンマイがあり、どちらもリューズで巻き上げられます。時計のゼンマイはリューズを12の方向に回して巻き上げ、アラームのゼンマイはリューズを6の方向に回します。アラーム音をオフにすることは考えられず、アラームが鳴り始めたら止めることはできません。43mmのニッケルケースと46mmの銀無垢のケースが存在し、こちらは後者で、ハイエンドあるいはより初期の製品だと考えられます。

状態は時代を考えると、大変ミントです。瑞々しいコンディションは感動的です。ほとんど使用されてこなかったことでしょう。奇跡的に当時のレザーが付属しています。ビデオを掲載します。

BRAND

機械式時計の名機エル・プリメロで知られるスイスのブランド。1865年スイスのル・ロックルにて創業、「天頂」をブランド名称の由来とし、ムーブメントの開発および製造を自社で一貫して行っているマニュファクチュールブランド。その技術力の高さは、博覧会などで獲得した2000を超える賞の数々が物語っています。

COMMENT

The wristwatch alarm. During the lifetime of its founder, Zenith developed an alarm clock movement, initially sold as a pocket watch. Based on this, the company decided to fit the same movement into relatively large wristwatch cases. These wristwatch alarm clocks feature two sub-dials on the dial, giving them the appearance of chronographs. The movement has two mainsprings, both wound by the crown. The watch's mainspring is wound by turning the crown in the 12 o'clock direction, while the alarm mainspring is wound by turning the crown in the 6 o'clock direction. There was no way to turn off the alarm; once it started ringing, it could not be stopped. There are versions with a 43mm nickel case and a 46mm solid silver case, with the latter being considered a higher-end or earlier model.

Considering its age, the condition is remarkably mint. The fresh condition is truly impressive. It seems to have been scarcely used. Miraculously, it comes with the original leather strap. A video is included.

This is a heritage model in the history of Zenith and wristwatches. The collector fortunate enough to acquire this piece is indeed enviable.

BRAND

Zenith, known for its legendary El Primero mechanical watch, is a Swiss brand founded in Le Locle, Switzerland, in 1865. The name "Zenith" means the highest point, which reflects the brand’s philosophy. Zenith is a manufacture brand that develops and manufactures its movements in-house. The brand's high technical prowess is evidenced by over 2,000 awards it has won at various exhibitions.
