ダイヤルはミニッツトラックの内外で仕上げを切り替えた、カッパーカラーのツートーン仕様。Cal.12.68Z 搭載機としては、34.5mmという大型のステイブライト製カラトラバケースに収められ、夜光を配さないことでドレスウォッチの趣を備えています。外周の飛びアラビアインデックスは先進的な意匠で、傾斜を持たせたデザインがパノラミックな奥行きを演出。中央が隆起したボンベ型のダイヤルに、えぐるようにフラットに仕上げられたスモールセコンドを組み合わせ、立体感と独自性を強調しています。高低差が大きいです。搭載ムーブメントはロンジンのCal.12.68Zで、当時の高精度と耐久性を体現し、現在も安定した作動を誇ります。

使用感を感じさせないミントな品です。ケースは小さな打ち傷が見られるものの、魅力的なシェイプはしっかりと残され、美しいフォルムを維持しています。リューズは使用感の出やすい部分ながら、良い状態を保っています。ダイヤルは本来のカッパーカラーを鮮やかに残し、気になる経年変化のない素晴らしいコンディション。ブルースチール針は深みある発色を保持しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

COMMENT

The dial features a copper-toned two-tone finish, with contrasting treatments inside and outside the minute track. Housed in a large 34.5 mm Staybrite Calatrava-style case—unusually generous for a watch powered by the Cal. 12.68Z—the absence of luminous material lends it the character of a refined dress watch. The outer sector is marked by bold, “exploding” Arabic numerals, their angled design creating a panoramic sense of depth. A domed central section is paired with a sharply recessed flat small-seconds register, producing a striking play of relief and dimensionality. At its heart beats Longines’ Cal. 12.68Z, a movement celebrated in its day for both precision and durability, and still admired for its reliable performance today.

A mint example showing virtually no signs of wear. While the case bears a few minor marks, the attractive shape remains intact, preserving its refined profile. The crown, often prone to wear, is in excellent condition. The dial retains its vivid original copper tone without notable ageing, complemented by blued steel hands that preserve their deep lustre.
