COMMENT
The discontinued Ceinture by Cartier is an ambitious design distinguished by its octagonal case and unique crown architecture. The crown itself follows the same octagonal form, and its restrained, solid construction heightens the individuality of the model. The white dial is composed with Roman numerals, a railway minute track, and blued steel baton hands, forming a refined expression unmistakably aligned with Cartier’s aesthetic codes.
The case shows minimal visible surface wear, with only light signs of use. The dial is a rare no-crack example, its enamel-like white surface reflecting light beautifully. The printed elements remain crisp, with no signs of deterioration. The strap is not original; it is a crocodile band sampled and produced by our store. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.
This model is mechanical rather than quartz and, with proper maintenance, is suited for long-term use. The strength of its geometric form is balanced by the dignity of the dial, allowing it to stand naturally as a piece worthy of being passed down through generations. Free from ostentation, it is a Cartier whose richness reveals itself through the density of its details at closer range.

Now discontinued, the Ceinture remains admired for its balanced proportions and distinctly Cartier aesthetic, combining elegance with subtle femininity. The crown set into the case flank reflects the maison’s attention to detail and reinforces the identity of Cartier.
