セイコーダイバーの中で3世代目となるモデルの、REF.6306-7001。1976年から1979年までに作られたと言われています。海外向けの6309と違い、ハック機能の付いた6306Aを搭載しています。曜日の表記は漢字/英語を選ぶことができます。

全体的に擦り傷が見られますが、上面のヘアラインがしっかりと維持されております。ダイヤルは色味の変化が一切なく、落ち着いた質感の印象を維持しております。手巻が付いていない自動巻きムーブメントで、巻上げ機能が肝心です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

BRAND

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

COMMENT

The Seiko Diver Ref. 6306-7001 represents the third generation within the Seiko diver lineage and is said to have been produced from 1976 to 1979. Unlike the export-oriented 6309 models, this reference is fitted with the 6306A movement, which includes a hacking function. The day display allows selection between Japanese Kanji and English.

Overall, light surface scratches are visible, while the original hairline finish across the upper surfaces remains clearly preserved. The dial shows no noticeable color change and retains a calm, matte texture. The automatic movement does not feature manual winding, making the efficiency of its self-winding mechanism particularly important. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The 1960s marked a period of remarkable advancement in mechanical watchmaking, often described as its era of completion. During this time, Seiko not only caught up with but surpassed global competitors in both precision trials and mass production. At the same time, the industry was moving toward electronic timekeeping. In December 1969, Seiko introduced the world’s first quartz wristwatch, signaling a major turning point from mechanical to quartz technology.
