オメガが実際にアメリカの鉄道会社に官給された時計。官給番号がケースバックに刻印されています。ダイヤルはラッカーホワイト。ノンデイトでインデックスも大きく、暗所での視認が容易です。針はブラックプリントのリーフハンド。秒刻みのスケジュールとなるレイルマンにとって最も重要となる秒針はレッドカラーです。自動巻きの時代に入って久しい、薄型の手巻きCal.600搭載でケースが薄く、ブレスレットと合わさった着用感の良さは格別です。日本ではキャタピラーと称されるフラットリンクブレスレットは、Ref.7912とエンドリンク4。クラスプデイト63/2は、ロングバックル、リンクはソリッドとクイックリムーブのシングルスプリングです。

ケースやブレスは小傷が確認できますが自然な使用感です。ラグやベゼルにしっかりとエッジを残した良いケースです。ホワイトカラーのダイヤルは清潔感のあるクリーンな状態を保っており、大変好感の持てる仕上がりです。プリントに劣化は見られません。針のプリントは劣化が見られず、一切の経年を感じさせないコンディションです。ブレスレットは、ソリッドリンクは8-8個でフルピース、スプリングリンクは正常にストレッチファンクションします。

文字盤の"OFFICIAL"の文字が、実際に官給されたことを表しています。市販品ではなかった個体ですので、レア度はとても高いです。鉄道員など電界の近くで働く人々に向けて作られた時計は、OMEGAのスポーツ系最重要モデルのひとつです。
