刻を司る基準水晶振動子と、温度検出用の副水晶振動子を搭載し、温度変化による誤差を補正することで、年差レベルの高精度を実現したモデルです。小型・薄型化、そして低消費電力化を達成し、精度が月差ではなく「年差で±5秒」という、1970年代の主なクオーツムーブメントの中でも極めて高精度なモデルです。
