1939年に30mmキャリバーが発表する直前。1937年に製造された、Cal.26.5SCを搭載した、ジャンボなオメガです。この年式で38mm径というだけで、特別な品であることがわかります。ダイヤルはブラックミラー。インデックス含めミニッツレイルはギルトになっています。インデックスはオールアラビア。針はこの年式のみに見られる、菱形のリーフを採用しています。こちらはバネ棒式ではなく、固定ラグモデルです。バックルは当時のもので、メーカーオリジナルがなかったオメガが公式採用していたものです。

搭載ムーブメントであるCal.26.5は30mmキャリバー登場前の手巻きのオメガを牽引してきた代表的なムーブメント。センターセコンドモデルや、耐震装置付きなど、バリエーションが多く、この世代とは思えない程安定感のある機械です。

ケースは傷が少なく、30年代のケースならではの魅力を維持しています。風防もダイヤルをはっきり視認できる良好なコンディションです。ダイヤルはエイジングによりポツポツとした部分が現れ、光の反射でキラキラと輝きます。針はくすみのない美しい状態で、好印象です。また、インデックスは色味の変化がなく、かすれている部分もなく、クリアな状態を保っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

The indices are all Arabic numerals, and the hands are a distinctive diamond-shaped leaf style, unique to this model's year.
