1970年代に製造された、Cラインケースを採用したオールド・インター。樽型のフォルムと重厚感のあるデザインながら、実際のケース径はIWCの伝統的なカラトラバケースと同様の35mmに留められており、着用感と視覚的なインパクトを絶妙に両立させた設計です。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ仕上げにバーインデックス、ペンシルハンドの王道的な組み合わせ。センターにブラックを配することでコントラストを効かせ、全体にモダンで引き締まった印象を与えています。希少なIWC純正ブレスレットが付属します。

ムーブメントは、IWC自社製キャリバーの完成形ともいえるCal.8541Bを搭載。ペラトン方式による両方向自動巻きシステムは、当時として画期的な信頼性と巻き上げ効率を誇ります。“B”はハック機能（秒針停止機構）を意味し、日付は針を前後させることで送る「往復送り」に対応。現代でも通用する実用性の高い仕様です。

ケースは全体に使用感こそあるものの、ラグや上面、側面のヘアラインが良好に保たれており、エッジの効いたプロポーションを維持しています。ダイヤルは目立ったダメージや経年変化が見られず、非常に美しいミントコンディション。針はわずかなくすみが見受けられる程度で、全体の雰囲気を損なうことはありません。インデックスはくすみや色抜けがなく、中央に配されたブラックのラインも崩れが見られず、コンディションの良さが際立ちます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This IWC from the 1970s features a classic C-line case. While the bold tonneau-shaped silhouette gives it a substantial presence, the case diameter remains a restrained 35mm—true to IWC’s Calatrava tradition—striking a perfect balance between comfort on the wrist and visual impact. The dial sports a sunburst silver finish with bar indices and pencil hands—an archetypal and timeless combination. A black strip through the center of the dial adds a touch of contrast and modern sharpness. The watch is fitted with a rare, original IWC bracelet.

Inside beats the Caliber 8541B—one of IWC’s most refined in-house automatic movements. The Pellaton winding system enables bi-directional winding for exceptional efficiency and reliability. The "B" denotes the presence of a hacking function, while the date is quickset via a back-and-forth movement of the crown—a practical feature even by today’s standards.

The case shows light signs of wear, but the brushed finishing on the lugs, case top, and sides is well preserved, and the sharp profile remains intact. The dial is in excellent mint condition, with no visible aging or damage. The hands show minimal patina, consistent with the overall vintage feel. The indices are clean, with no signs of oxidation or fading, and the central black line remains crisp. The watch has been fully serviced by our team.
