国産初の10振動自動巻ムーブメントを搭載した、グランドセイコーの代表作といえる61GS。ケースは、柔らかな曲線を描くクッションフォルムで構成され、腕元に自然と馴染む造形です。ダイヤルはグレーのサンレイ仕上げで、針は先端にブラックプリントと夜光を配したペンシルハンド。インデックスはスクエア型をベースに段差と傾斜を設け、立体的な造形に。ミニッツは内周にホワイトプリントで控えめに配され、視認性と品格を両立させています。ブレスレットは純正品を装備していますが、クラスプ内側のパーツは壊れやすく、社外品に取り替えられています。。

ケースは使用感の少ない良好な状態で、側面やラグのエッジが明瞭に保たれています。ダイヤルは傷やシミが一切見られず、極めて清潔なコンディション。針・インデックスが艶やかな輝きを保ち、経年によるくすみやダメージはなく、夜光塗料はホワイトのまま色調を維持しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

The 61GS is considered a flagship model of Grand Seiko, housing Japan’s first 10-beat automatic movement. Its case features a soft, cushion-shaped silhouette that naturally conforms to the wrist. The dial is finished in grey sunburst, while the pencil hands are accented with black print and luminous material at the tips. The square-based hour markers incorporate stepped and angled surfaces, creating a rich sense of depth. Minute markers are discreetly printed in white along the inner track, striking a balance between legibility and refinement. The watch is fitted with a genuine Seiko bracelet, though the clasp’s internal component is a non-original replacement.

The case remains in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. The edges of the lugs and case sides are sharply preserved. The dial is immaculately clean, with no blemishes or discoloration. The hands and markers retain a glossy, radiant finish, free from aging or damage. The luminous material remains white, showing no signs of color change. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our watchmaker.

This reference is a prime example of Grand Seiko’s design philosophy—minimalist, elegant, and deeply considered. Among the various iterations of the Ref. 6146, this cushion-case version is particularly well-balanced in its proportions.
