Ref.2992は36mm径のジャンボケースを採用した希少なシーマスターで、当時としては大ぶりなプロポーションが特徴です。ダイヤルは電着塗装のホワイトに、同心円状のヘアライン仕上げを施したシルバーを組み合わせた端正なツートン構成で、中央が柔らかく盛り上がるボンベ形状を描いています。外周インデックス部にはわずかな傾斜が与えられ、全体に豊かな奥行きが生まれています。厚みのあるソリッドなドーフィンハンド、繊細なカッティングが施されたインデックスが清潔感ある印象を強めています。ブレスレットはビーズオブライスRef.1036に11番エンドリンクを備えています。

Reference 2992 is a rare Seamaster featuring a 36 mm jumbo case—an impressively large proportion for its time. The dial presents a refined two-tone composition, pairing electro-deposited white with a silver concentric brushed finish. Its gentle bombe curvature creates a soft rise at the centre, while the slightly sloped outer index ring adds a sense of depth and dimensionality. Substantial solid dauphine hands and sharply faceted indexes enhance the clean, crisp impression. The watch is fitted with a beads-of-rice bracelet, Ref. 1036 with 11 end links.
The case is in excellent condition, showing only minimal marks and retaining a clear, well-defined presence. The edges of the lugs remain crisp, preserving the original geometry and surface transitions. The dial shows very little ageing, maintaining the smooth texture characteristic of the period. The hands display light patina but retain a refined lustre that does not disrupt the overall harmony.
