フライトマスターの1stモデルです。フジツボ型の大型ケースは、放射状のヘアライン加工が施されています。クロノグラフに複数の機能を付加し、飛行士のニーズに応えたモデルで、インナー回転ベゼルは8時位置のリューズで調整し、経過時間を確認します。青色のデュアルタイム針は10時位置のリューズで任意の位置に調整でき、2カ国の時刻を同時に表示することが可能。秒針が無く、ガラス製の風防はふくらみを帯びた仕様である点がファーストモデルの特徴でもあります。

こちらの商品は、オメガによって2004年12月にコンプリートサービスを受けてから、使用されていません。ケースは傷のない、美しい状態です。ダイヤルはミントで、フライトマスターは経年変化が起こりやすく、オリジナルでここまで状態の良いものには、市場ではまず見かけません。ルミナスは理想的なベージュカラーです。ホワイトのミニッツライン、グレーのダイアル、ブラックとグリーンのインダイアルはパーフェクトです。針はオメガによって新しいものに交換されています。

スピードマスターのバリエーションとして1969年に発表され、パイロット向けに作られたフライトマスター。独特なケースフォルムは、後の「Z-33」に継承されたことでも知られ、オメガの歴史を遡る上で重要なプロダクトであったことに違いありません。

BRAND

Flightmaster（フライトマスター）は、1969年に初めて登場。独自に調整されたセカンドタイムゾーン機能を備えた革新的なパイロット用ウォッチとして販売されました。1960年代の国際旅行と航空への関心の高まりという時代背景を意識して発表されたモデルです。

COMMENT

This is the first-generation Omega Flightmaster. Its large "Fuji-tsubo" (barnacle) case features radial brushed finishing, a hallmark of its distinctive design. Aimed at meeting the needs of aviators, this chronograph boasts multiple added functions. The inner rotating bezel, adjusted via the crown at the 8 o’clock position, enables tracking elapsed time. The dual-time blue hand can be set to any position using the crown at 10 o’clock, allowing simultaneous display of two time zones. Notable first-generation characteristics include the absence of a central seconds hand and a domed acrylic crystal.

This particular piece underwent a complete service by Omega in December 2004 and has not been used since. The case remains in pristine condition, free from any scratches. The dial is mint and exceptionally well-preserved—a rarity in today's market for an original example of this quality. The luminous material has aged to a perfect beige tone, harmonizing beautifully with the watch's vintage character, and the white minute markers, grey dial base, and black and green sub-dials are flawless. The hands have been replaced during the Omega service.

As the watch was serviced by Omega, we have refrained from performing additional maintenance. All functions have been confirmed to operate correctly, and the following performance tests were conducted. The watch is being sold as-is, with these figures provided for reference:

• The chronograph and bezel functions operate normally.
