COMMENT

18金無垢ケースの繊細な造形による艶めきが美しいタンク。ケースの上面とサイド、ダイヤルにダイヤモンドを設置した特別なタンクです。アフターではなく、当時のオリジナルダイヤモンドで、ダイヤルはこのモデル特注品です。元来のようなプリントではなく、ローマインデックスやカルティエロゴはアプライドにより、立体です。当時の純正18金無垢Dバックルと、純正クロコダイルベルトを装備しています。革ベルトは裏地までもクロコダイルを使用したハイエンドなものです。Dバックルは初期のもので、自在に調節がきないため、革ベルトを着用社の腕に合わせて都度特注する必要があります。カルティエの修理明細書と、保存袋が付属します。

ケースは気になるような傷、ダイヤモンドにダメージは見られません。ケースバックのホールマークは、擦れなく綺麗に残っています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションです。マットなホワイトダイヤルでクラックは入らないものですが、シミ等の汚れも一切見られません。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

The gleaming sophistication of Tank, crafted from solid 18-karat gold, presents a special rendition with diamonds set on the case top, sides, and dial. These are not aftermarket additions but original diamonds of the time, with the dial being a bespoke feature of this model. Instead of conventional printing, the Roman indices and Cartier logo are applied in relief, adding dimension. It comes equipped with the original 18-karat solid gold D-buckle and genuine crocodile leather strap. The leather strap, lined with crocodile skin even on the underside, is a high-end touch. The D-buckle, being an early version, lacks adjustable features, requiring custom fitting of the leather strap to match the wearer's wrist each time. Includes Cartier repair invoice and storage pouch.

The case shows no noticeable scratches, and there's no damage to the diamonds. The hallmark on the case back remains pristine without any abrasions. The dial is in mint condition. While matte white dials of this kind typically don't crack, there are no stains or dirt visible either. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

Amongst the Old Tanks, this one stands out as exceptionally high-end. Its production numbers are likely extremely low.
