COMMENT

サントスは、ベゼルとブレスレットにビス装飾を取り入れた、カルティエを象徴するデザイン。ダイヤルはマットな質感の淡いアイボリーで、ミニッツトラック、ローマ数字、サークルラインの絶妙な配置がクラシカルな雰囲気を際立たせます。ブルースチールのバトン針とカボションリューズの色合いが調和し、控えめながら洗練されたアクセントになっています。

ケースは全体的に傷が少なく良好なコンディションです。8角形ベゼルはシルエットが保たれており、当時のシャープな輪郭を今に伝えています。ダイヤルはほとんどダメージが見られません。ローマンインデックスやミニッツトラックのプリントは欠けが見られません。ブルースチールの針はパティナが入らず、鮮やかな色味を維持しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

The Santos is defined by its signature screws adorning both bezel and bracelet—an enduring emblem of Cartier design. The dial presents in a soft matte ivory tone, where the precise arrangement of minute track, Roman numerals, and inner circle line enhances its classical character. Blued steel baton hands harmonize with the cabochon-set crown, introducing a restrained yet refined accent.

The case shows minimal signs of wear and remains in pleasing condition overall. The octagonal bezel retains its sharp silhouette, preserving the crisp geometry of the period. The dial is largely free from visible damage; the Roman numerals and minute track printing remain intact. The blued steel hands have not developed patina and continue to display a vivid tone. LM-sized Santos Octagon models have become less frequently encountered on the market in recent years, making this a welcome opportunity.
