インデックスは夜光塗料で描かれており、12時位置には「メメントダイヤル」と呼ばれるサブダイヤルを備えています。9時位置の専用リューズで独立操作が可能で、任意の時間を記録するために設計されたものです。4つのサブダイヤルを配した左右対称のレイアウトは、クロノグラフ専業メーカーとして長年ムーブメント製造を担ってきた、ユニバーサル・ジュネーブならではの独創性です。33mmという小振りなケースサイズの中に、洗練された技術が凝縮されて詰め込まれています。

ケースは全体に使用感が少なく、ラグのエッジはシャープに保たれており、極めて良好なコンディションです。2つのリューズは当時のままオリジナルで現存しており、コレクタブルな要素のひとつです。ダイヤルは均一な経年変化が見られ、プリントやデザイン要素はしっかりと維持されています。ブルースチールの針は発色良好で、夜光塗料は黒く変色していますが、味わい深いヴィンテージ感を醸しています。クロノグラフ、メメントファンクションは正常に作動しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

This unique chronograph pairs a white dial with blued steel leaf hands, offering a refined and distinctive aesthetic. The luminous-painted indices enhance legibility, while a special sub-dial known as the "Memento Dial" sits prominently at the 12 o’clock position. Operated independently via a dedicated crown at 9 o’clock, this memory dial was designed to mark a specific time of significance. The symmetrical layout, featuring four sub-dials, showcases the technical ingenuity of Universal Genève—a brand long celebrated for its expertise in chronograph movement manufacturing. Despite its modest 33mm case size, the watch exudes a sense of compact sophistication.

The case is in outstanding vintage condition, with minimal signs of wear and well-preserved, sharply defined lugs. Both crowns remain original, a notable point of collectibility. The dial shows uniform aging while maintaining the integrity of its printed elements and design details. The blued steel hands retain their vibrant tone, and although the luminous material has aged to a darkened hue, it adds an appealing patina. The chronograph functions operate properly, ensuring the watch is ready for practical use. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.
