シルバーダイヤルにミニマルなバーインデックスを配し、スレンダーな針を組み合わせた上品なデザインです。外周ベゼルには彫り込みの時刻目盛りが施され、インデックスとの一体感をもたせた構成となっています。クロスラインもベゼルへと連続しており、シンプルでありながら完成度の高い意匠を形成。ラウンドケースは通称“Disco Volante（円盤型ケース）”と呼ばれるスタイルを採用し、水平に広がるフォルムが薄型ケースと調和して独特の存在感を放っています。ダイヤルには名門「GÜBELIN」のダブルネームが控えめにあしらわれ、格調をさらに際立たせています。搭載ムーブメントは1953年にヴァシュロン・コンスタンタンやパテック フィリップと共同開発されたCal.2003で、厚さわずか1.64mmという超薄型手巻きキャリバー。その革新的な設計はドレスウォッチの基準を刷新し、スイス高級時計史に名を残しました。

ケースには小傷が見られるものの、ノンポリッシュの良好な状態を保っています。ダイヤルは均一なシルバートーンを維持し、インデックスや針も健全なコンディションです。全体として引き締まった佇まいを備えた一本といえます。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

The silver dial features minimal bar indexes paired with slender hands, creating an elegant and refined design. The outer bezel is engraved with minute markers, harmonizing with the indexes for a cohesive aesthetic. The crosshair motif extends seamlessly into the bezel, forming a simple yet highly accomplished composition. The round case follows the so-called “Disco Volante” (flying saucer) style, with its horizontally spreading profile blending with the slim proportions to create a distinctive presence. The dial bears the discreet double signature of the prestigious retailer “Gübelin,” further enhancing its sophistication. Powering the watch is the Cal.2003, an ultra-thin hand-wound caliber co-developed in 1953 by Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, and Patek Philippe. With a thickness of just 1.64mm, this groundbreaking movement redefined the standards of dress watches and left a lasting mark on Swiss horology.

The case shows minor surface wear but remains in unpolished and well-preserved condition. The dial retains a uniform silver tone, with both hands and indexes in sound condition. Overall, the watch maintains a crisp and dignified appearance. Serviced and cleaned by us.

The Disco Volante line by Audemars Piguet is thought to have been designed in the 1950s by the German independent designer Gebhard Duve and is highly esteemed today. While this example features lugs and is therefore a derivative rather than the direct archetype, it still demonstrates a fusion of modern form and technical finesse.
