RECORDのNew Old Stock品のご紹介です。

レコード社は1903年スイス創業のブランドで、自社一貫生産体制をとったマニュファクチュールブランドです。肉厚の独特のケースが存在感を出しています。上面が多面カットされたフジツボ型インデックスなど造り込まれた1本です。決して有名ブランドではありませんが、より良いものをと手間をかけた時代の時計です。

BRAND

スイスの老舗メーカー＜RECORD（レコード）＞社。1899年、Record Dreadnought Watch CompanyはスイスのGeneva（ジュネーブ）に誕生。後に、＜Tramelan（トラメーラン）＞に主要なボランチを置いたことから、スイスでは＜Tramelan＞のウォッチメーカーとしても知られています。同社は「正確な時計」を“看板”とするために販売後の対応、修理に徹底してこだわりました。時計部品の製造やストックを積極的に進め、同社製品に修理が必要となった際には迅速な部品交換を可能とする体制を整えたのです。1920年代の中頃までに時計の製造と共に、アフターサービスも行う「ワークショップ」をスイス国内3ケ所に設けていました。この取り組みにより＜RECORD＞社は自社製品にいち早くギャランティ（品質保証）を持たせています。

Record, founded in Switzerland in 1903, is a manufacturer that adopted an in-house production system, making it a maison brand. Its distinctively thick case exudes a strong presence. This timepiece is meticulously crafted, featuring faceted indices on the top surface and a shell-like shape. Though not a well-known brand, it represents an era where time and effort were invested to create superior products.

As this is a collector's item, no maintenance has been carried out. However, upon request, we can provide a separate overhaul service.

BRAND

Record, a renowned Swiss manufacturer, was born in Geneva in 1899 as the Record Dreadnought Watch Company. Later, with its primary branch in Tramelan, it became known as a watchmaker from Tramelan in Switzerland. The company placed great emphasis on post-sales support and repair to uphold its reputation for producing "accurate timepieces." Actively manufacturing and stocking watch parts, Record ensured swift part replacements when repairs were needed for its products. By the mid-1920s, in addition to watch manufacturing, the company had established "workshops" at three locations in Switzerland to provide after-sales service. This initiative allowed Record to promptly offer guarantees (quality assurance) for its products.
