COMMENT

セイコーダイバーの中で3代目となるモデルで、1976年から1979年までに作られた希少な国内向けモデル。海外向けと違い、ハック機能の付いた6306Aを搭載しています。曜日の表記は漢字/英語を選ぶことができます。ダイアルコンディションがとても良く、プリントの色味が抜けず綺麗に残っています。裏蓋のシリアルの刻印は深く研磨状況も大変良好です。手巻が付いていない自動巻きモデルで、巻上げ性能が気になるのが、こちらの時計です。オーバーホールの後のテストが快調で、38時間以上の作動を確認していますので、安心してお使いいただけます。

BRAND

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

COMMENT

This model represents the third generation of Seiko divers, produced exclusively for the domestic market from 1976 to 1979. Unlike its overseas counterparts, it features the rare 6306A movement with a hacking function. Users can choose between kanji/English for the day display. The dial is in excellent condition, with vibrant print colors that have remained intact without fading. The serial engraving on the case back is deep, indicating excellent polishing conditions. As a self-winding model without manual winding capability, its winding performance may raise concerns. However, post-overhaul testing has been successful, confirming over 38 hours of operation, ensuring reliable use.

BRAND

The 1960s marked a period of significant development for mechanical wristwatches, with Seiko making remarkable strides in both precision competitions and mass production, catching up and surpassing global standards. Concurrently, the era witnessed the advancement of "electrification of watches," with Seiko steering towards quartz watches after the release of the world's first quartz wristwatch in December 1969, marking a significant shift from mechanical to quartz timepieces.
