セイコースピードタイマー6139は、世界で最初に製造された自動巻きクロノグラフウォッチの1つです。Speedtimer 6139には多くのケースバリエーションがあり、この個体のタイプは重厚なCラインが特徴です。ダイヤルは希少な仕様で、12時はブラックから6時にかけてホワイトアウトする、ブラウングラデーションです。オリジナルブレスレットを備えています。

搭載されているCal.6139Bは当時では先進性のあった垂直クラッチ、コラムホイールを採用したキャリバーで、日本の技術力の高さを示しています。リューズのプッシュによる、日付、曜日、言語の切り替えが非常に画期的です。通称“61クロノ”と呼ばれる諏訪精工舎製の国産時計初となる名作自動巻きクロノグラフ時計です。

The Seiko Speedtimer 6139 is one of the first automatic chronograph watches ever manufactured in the world. Among the various case variations of the Speedtimer 6139, this particular type is characterized by its robust C-line design. The dial features a rare gradient, transitioning from black at 12 o'clock to white towards 6 o'clock, creating a brown gradient effect. It comes equipped with its original bracelet.

The Caliber 6139B, housed within, was innovative for its time, featuring a vertical clutch and column wheel, showcasing the advanced technological prowess of Japan. The groundbreaking feature of switching date, day, and language via the push of the crown is remarkable. It is hailed as a masterpiece, known colloquially as the "61 Chrono," representing Suwa Seikosha's first domestically produced automatic chronograph watch.
