30mmキャリバーを搭載したオメガ。温度補正を担うために開発された切りテンプを備えたクラシックなムーブメントは、修理士なら一度は触ってみたい憧れの機械です。当時はまだセンターセコンドが珍しく、際立たせるためにブルースチールの秒針を採用しています。ロレックスでは多々見られる針の配色ですが、オメガではあまり見かけません。視認性を上げるためのアラビア数字の向きが愛らしく個性的です。細かく刻まれたミニッツトラックはギルトのツートンダイヤルで、視認性の高い秒針と合わせてより効果を発揮します。無骨な厚みのあるケースはスクリューバック仕様のカラトラバで、ハイスペックです。

一躍OMEGAを世界ブランドに押し上げるきっかけとなったCal.30シリーズ。中でも代表的なCal.30T2SCPCを搭載しています。1939年に発表された30ミリキャリバーは、ムーブメントの直径が30mmであることに由来します。できるだけ大きなテンプを収めて高精度を出すというシンプルな意図で作られたこの優れた機械は、時計史に残る名機です。OMEGAがこのムーブメントを公表後、他メーカーにも大きな影響を与え、30ミリに同じ直径と大きなテンプをもつキャリバーが次々とオマージュされました。SCはセンターセコンド、PCは耐震装置付きを意味します。

ダイヤルは80年の経年により、独自のエイジングを見せています。焼けは少なく、ツートンカラーが効いており程よいヴィンテージテイストです。崩れることなく残ったアラビア夜光はぶち模様が愛らしく、美しいベージュを保っています。ブルースチールの秒針は当時の深い色味を保っており、シルバーの長短針はミントコンディションです。ケースは当時のヘアライン仕上げがそのまま残っており、良好なコンディションです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

懐中時計をそのまま縮めたようなオーソドックスなオメガ30mmキャリバーは修理がしやすく、堅牢な作りが特徴的です。ケース径35mm、ラグ幅18mmとこの世代の時計の中では大きめで着用しやすく、また気の利いたダイヤルデザインに惹かれます。

The Omega watch equipped with the silver-plated movement from the 30T2 series represents an older generation of movements. This classic movement, featuring a cut balance developed for temperature compensation, is a revered piece that every watch repairer dreams of working on. During that era, center seconds were still rare, so the blue steel seconds hand was used to make it stand out. Although Rolex frequently uses such hand colors, it is not common for Omega. The charming and unique orientation of the Arabic numerals enhances readability, and the finely detailed minute track on the gilt two-tone dial works well with the highly visible seconds hand. The robust, thick case is a high-spec Calatrava with a screw-back design.

The Cal.30 series, which played a significant role in elevating OMEGA to a global brand, includes the iconic Cal.30T2SCPC. The 30mm caliber, introduced in 1939, is named after its 30mm diameter movement. Designed with the simple intention of housing a large balance for high precision, this excellent movement is a historic masterpiece. After OMEGA introduced this movement, it significantly influenced other manufacturers, leading to the creation of calibers with the same 30mm diameter and large balance wheels. SC stands for center seconds, and PC indicates shock protection.

The dial displays unique aging over its 80-year history, with minimal discoloration and an effective two-tone color scheme that adds a pleasing vintage aesthetic. The well-preserved luminous Arabic numerals have a charming mottled pattern, retaining a beautiful beige hue. The blue steel seconds hand maintains its deep color, while the silver hour and minute hands are in mint condition. The case retains its original hairline finish and is in excellent condition. It has been fully serviced by our company.

The orthodox Omega 30mm caliber, resembling a scaled-down pocket watch, is known for its easy repairability and robust construction.
