ステンレススチール製35mmケースにブラックギルトダイヤルを組み合わせた構成で、ブラックミラー地に夜光アラビア数字とチャプターリングを配した意匠は、シンプルでありながら力強い存在感を放っています。6時位置にスモールセコンドを配し、シルバーで統一された時分針が落ち着いた華やかさを添えています。ムーブメントは堅牢さで知られるCal.30T2を搭載し、耐久性と精度の両面で当時高い評価を受けた機構です。

ケースは良好なプロポーションを維持し、ケースバックの刻印は鮮明に残されています。ダイヤルは経年によりマット調へと変化していますが、ギルトレターは美しい輝きを保っています。針とインデックスは夜光ラジウムが濃いベージュに変化し、ヴィンテージならではの風格を備えています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

「Suverän（主権）」の名を冠する本モデルは、第二次世界大戦下のスウェーデンにおける特別な流通背景を物語る存在として知られています。とりわけブラックギルト仕様は現存数が少なく、北欧市場とスイス製高級時計の関わりを示す貴重な証左といえます。歴史的背景と意匠の独自性を兼ね備えた本個体は、戦後ヴィンテージ史において欠かすことのできない重要な一頁を刻むモデルです。

BRAND

腕時計が普及し始めた1910年代から手巻き、自動巻と変遷を経て、クオーツ時計の開発によって機械式時計が衰退します。それ以前の1960年代に機械式腕時計はひとつのピークに達します。当時は日本でも三種の神器の一つだったオメガの時計。持つ人のステータスとなる高級品で、各メーカーが精度や防水性、耐久性など切磋琢磨し開発した時代。コストをかけて、より良い時計造りのためにしのぎを削っていました。

COMMENT

This piece features a 35mm stainless steel case paired with a black gilt dial. The glossy black mirror finish is accented with luminous Arabic numerals and a chapter ring, giving the watch a simple yet powerful presence. A small seconds subdial is placed at 6 o’clock, while the silver-toned hour and minute hands lend a subtle touch of refinement. At its heart is the robust Cal.30T2, a movement renowned for its durability and precision, which was highly regarded at the time of its production.

The case has retained its well-balanced proportions, with the caseback engraving still sharply preserved. The dial has aged to a matte tone over time, yet the gilt lettering retains its original brilliance. Both the hands and indexes show radium lume that has matured to a deep beige, imparting the watch with a dignified vintage character. Our workshop has performed a full overhaul.

Bearing the name “Suverän” (“Sovereign”), this model reflects the distinctive distribution history of Omega watches in Sweden during World War II. The black gilt variant is particularly scarce and serves as valuable evidence of the unique relationship between the Nordic market and Swiss haute horlogerie. With its combination of historical context and rare design execution, this watch occupies an essential place in the narrative of postwar vintage horology.
