堂々たる表情のコンステレーション。シルバーダイヤルは12角のパイパンで、内側はマット、外側は同心円のヘアラインを施したツートンダイヤルとなっています。時分針はドルフィン。針は全て専用で短く、パイパンの内側に沿ってランニングします。バーインデックスはファセットが美しくオメガの上位機種らしい意匠です。針とインデックスの両方にブラックを配しています。ケースはステンレスに厚く金を被せたゴールドトップです。

クロノメーターCal.561は、カレンダー早送り(21時⇔1時の間針を往復させる)が付く、5ポジション（五姿勢および温度調整）の機械であり、歴代の500系オートマチック・ムーブメントを改良して高評価を残した機械。日常的に使い易い時計です。

ダイヤルは焼けの少ないパリッとした表情で好感の持てるコンディションです。当時のままの艶めきを見せており、高級感が感じられます。針やインデックス、アプライドのΩロゴは鏡面仕上げに剥がれがなく、メッキの反射が瑞々しい印象です。ケースはプロポーションがよく、ベゼルの段にエッジを残しています。60年代の雰囲気をリアルに楽しめる一品です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

星座を意味するコンステレーションは、オメガの最高精度と自動巻を両立させた珠玉のモデルです。 クオーツ時計開発以前の「精度こそ絶対的な価値」とされた時代に生まれた最高峰の時計です。

この世代のオメガの機械は自動巻効率が優秀なため、手巻きを必要とする場合がほとんどありません。コンステレーションのオリジナル竜頭は、デザイン性を重視しています。手巻きし難いなど、マニュアルでの操作が重い感じますが、オリジナルの仕様であり、問題ありません。

COMMENT

The Constellation exudes a majestic presence. The silver dial features a distinctive 12-sided pie pan design with a matte inner finish and concentric brushed lines on the outer section, creating a two-tone effect. The hour and minute hands are dauphine-style, all custom-made and short, running along the inside of the pie pan. The bar indices are beautifully faceted, befitting a high-end Omega model, with black accents on both the hands and indices. The case is made of stainless steel with a thick gold-capped top.

The chronometer Cal. 561 movement features quickset date adjustment (by moving the hands back and forth between 9 PM and 1 AM) and is regulated in five positions and temperatures, a highly regarded evolution of the historic 500 series automatic movements. This makes it a practical watch for daily use.

The dial is in excellent condition with minimal patina, retaining its original luster and exuding a sense of luxury. The hands, indices, and applied Omega logo show no signs of peeling and reflect light beautifully due to their polished finish. The case has well-preserved proportions, with sharp bezel edges. This piece authentically captures the 1960s aesthetic. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

The Constellation, meaning "star cluster," is Omega's crowning achievement, combining top-notch precision and automatic winding. It was created during an era when precision was considered the ultimate value, prior to the development of quartz watches.

Omega movements from this era are known for their efficient automatic winding, rarely requiring manual winding. The original Constellation crown prioritises design, which can make manual winding feel heavy, but this is true to the original specification and poses no issues.
