シルバーカラーのサンレイダイヤルにシンプルなバーインデックスが美しく配置されています。インデックスは2面の山形で鏡面仕上げが施されており、3時、6時、9時のインデックスは3面の台形型でセンターにヘアライン加工が施されているため、光の反射が異なり、個性的で視覚的に楽しませてくれます。細身のペンシルハンドは、フォーマルで洗練された印象を与えます。ケースはロレックス伝統のオイスターケースを採用しており、堅牢でありながらもエレガントなデザインを楽しめます。リベットブレスレットはRef.7205、エンドリンク61、クラスプデイト63/4です。

オイスターデイトは手巻きの為薄く、ロレックスの入門編として日常使いにもお勧めできるモデルです。当時から多彩なカラーバリエーションが見られ、ブラックやブルーも、他のモデルにくらべて手が出しやすい価格層に抑えられています。安定した手巻きのムーブメントは精度が良く、日付の早送りがついていない為、針を進めて変更するのが少々手間ですが、アンティークらしい愛嬌のある手巻き時計としてロレックスを楽しめます。

The indexes feature a two-faceted, mirror-polished finish, while the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock markers are distinctive three-sided trapezoids with hairline finishing at the center, creating varying reflections and adding visual interest. Slender pencil hands enhance the refined, formal aesthetic. The case adopts Rolex’s traditional Oyster construction—robust, yet graceful in design. The watch is fitted with a riveted Oyster bracelet, Ref. 7205, with end links 61 and clasp code 63/4.

This is a New Old Stock (NOS) piece—an extraordinary find that serves as a historical artifact, offering insight into the craftsmanship of its era. The bracelet remains in pristine condition, retaining its original shape without any sagging. Remarkably, there are no signs of resizing—the links are untouched, just as they were at the time of sale. The Rolex case back sticker is perfectly preserved, another testament to the watch’s unused condition. Apart from a few minor storage marks, the case's hairline finish is exceptionally well-preserved. The dial displays slight speckling, evoking a vintage charm.
