1950年代のヴァシュロン・コンスタンタン。36ミリのケースは、ラグへと流れるような美しいラインが特徴のモデルです。ダイヤルはゴールドのツートン。内側はマット仕上げで、外側は鏡面。華やかなデザインが施されています。インデックスはダイヤモンド型のファセットで、1950年代らしい贅沢なデザインです。ドルフィンハンドの分針と秒針はツートンの境目を滑らかになぞります。

ケースのプロポーションは素晴らしいです。保管に伴う小さな傷は見受けられますが、打痕のようなものはありません。素材の良さや丁寧な取り扱いがうかがえます。ダイヤルは外周の鏡面部分にわずかな経年変化が見られますが、輝きが強いため、ほとんど気になりません。針は完璧です。ヤレもなく、瑞々しいコンディションが維持されています。インデックスの上面には薄くくすみが見られます。半球状の夜光はわずかに崩れていますが、黒く焼けていません。当社で分解掃除済みで、48時間以上のパワーリザーブが確認されています。

Ref.4870の中でも、特に華やかなこのゴールドツートンダイヤルは珍しいです。重厚なスクリューバックケースに、1950年代の最高技術を活かしたダイヤルなど、まさに高級機たる迫力を放っています。

A Vacheron Constantin from the 1950s, featuring a 36mm case with beautifully flowing lines extending to the lugs. The dial is a striking gold two-tone, with a matte finish on the inner portion and a mirror finish on the outer. The diamond-shaped faceted indices showcase a luxurious design typical of the 1950s. The minute and second hands, shaped like dauphine fins, smoothly trace the border between the two tones.

The proportions of the case are exquisite. While there are minor scratches consistent with storage, there are no noticeable dents. The quality of the material and careful handling are apparent. The dial exhibits slight aging on the mirrored portion around the periphery, but the strong shine makes it hardly noticeable. The hands are flawless, showing no signs of wear and maintaining a fresh condition. There is a faint patina on the top surface of the indices. The slightly worn half-sphere luminous material has not darkened. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company, confirming a power reserve of over 48 hours.

Among the Ref. 4870 models, this gold two-tone dial stands out for its exceptional elegance. Housed in a substantial screw-back case, it epitomizes the sophistication of the highest technology of the 1950s.
