元々はブラックダイヤルだったオイスタープリンスデイトです。ミッドサイズの20μmの金を塗布したGFオイスターケースに、ゴールドのバーインデックス、ペンシルハンドという癖のないシンプルな意匠が、ダイアルの魅力を引き立てます。レターにはチュードルのシンボルロゴである小バラがあしらわれ、SELF-WINDINGの表記が1970年代以前のアーチ状になっており、さりげないヴィンテージデザインが素敵です。

ブラックミラーダイヤルが芳醇なブラウンカラーに変化することを「トロピカルダイヤル」と呼びます。この個体はその中でも最も美しい例であり、艶が現存しながらも色の濃淡が美しく、この質感を人為的に再現することは不可能です。針やインデックスには気になるような経年変化は見られません。ダイヤルの半球上のルミナスも崩れがなく、素晴らしいベージュカラーを保っています。ケースは金の剥がれがなく、エッジの立った良いプロポーションを維持しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

1930年代に＜ROLEX＞のディフュージョンブランドとして誕生。素晴らしい製造技術を誇りながらも、時計製造コストが高く認知度が低かった＜ROLEX＞に対して、低価格で一般庶民に親しまれた＜TUDOR＞。結果的には＜TUDOR＞が世間に認められたことで、＜ROLEX＞の認知度は急激に高まり、＜ROLEX＞は現在の「世界的に有名」なブランドとして認められるようになりました。

Introducing the Oyster Prince Date, originally featuring a black dial. This mid-sized watch has a 20μm gold-plated GF Oyster case with simple gold bar indices and pencil hands that enhance the dial's appeal. The dial is adorned with Tudor's signature small rose logo, and the "SELF-WINDING" text is elegantly arched, characteristic of designs from before the 1970s, adding a subtle vintage charm.

The black mirror dial has transformed into a rich brown, a phenomenon known as a "tropical dial." This particular example is among the most beautiful, with its glossy surface and stunning color gradients that cannot be artificially replicated. The hands and indices show minimal signs of aging, and the luminous dots on the dial remain intact, showcasing a superb beige color. The case retains its gold plating without any peeling and maintains its sharp edges and good proportions. The watch has been fully serviced by our company.

The dial, shaped artistically by time, combined with the GF case, exudes the warm character typical of antique pieces.

Tudor was established in the 1930s as a diffusion brand of Rolex. While Rolex boasted exceptional manufacturing techniques, its high production costs and lower brand recognition made it less accessible to the general public.
