1950年代に製造されたチューダー・プリンスオイスターデイト34。ダイヤルには当時らしいマットなパウダーホワイトを採用し、クラシックな雰囲気を醸し出しています。インデックスはクサビ型と12のみアラビア数字を組み合わせたスポーティなデザインで、視認性と個性を両立。針はドーフィンハンドを採用しています。ムーブメントには、バタフライローターを備えたCal.395を搭載。さらに、デイト表示には赤と黒が交互に切り替わるルーレットデイトを採用し、実用性、先進的なデイト機能のアピールを兼ね備えています。

ケースは4本のラグが均整の取れた形状を保っており、バランスの良いプロポーションを維持しています。大きな傷はなく、シーンを問わずご使用いただけます。パウダーホワイトダイヤルはエイジングによる色付きがほとんど見られず、大変ミントな質感を維持しています。1950年代当時のパウダーホワイトダイヤルで、ここまで状態の良いものは稀少です。針やインデックスにはメッキの剥がれが見られず、夜光塗料には若干の黒ずみが見られますが、ヴィンテージならではの味わいを醸し出しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

1926年にROLEXのイギリス普及拡大のため誕生したディフュージョンブランド。ブランド名もイギリスの名門『チューダー家』にちなんだもので市民に親しみやすさをアピールしようとしていたことが窺い知れる。ヴィンテージチュードル人気のポイントはやはり、ケースやリューズなどROLEXのパーツが使われていること、チューダー家の薔薇の紋章をロゴに採用したことでロレックスと同じケースながら、ダイアルにはバラのロゴが配された“デカバラ”や“小バラ”と呼ばれるチュードル独自の人気モデルが誕生した。その後チュードルはロゴを盾をモチーフにしたものに変更し現在ではROLEXからは離れ、独自路線を進むことになる。

A Tudor Prince Oysterdate 34 manufactured in the 1950s. The dial features a matte powder white finish, characteristic of the era, exuding a classic atmosphere. The indexes combine wedge-shaped markers with an Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock, creating a sporty yet highly legible design. The watch is fitted with dauphine hands, further enhancing its vintage appeal. At its heart, the movement is powered by the Cal. 395, equipped with a butterfly rotor. Additionally, the roulette date display alternates between red and black numerals, offering both practicality and a touch of innovation for its time.

The case maintains well-balanced proportions with four symmetrical lugs. There are no major scratches, making it a versatile choice for any occasion. The powder white dial has retained its pristine texture, with minimal signs of aging—an exceptional find for a 1950s dial of this type. The hands and indexes remain free of plating loss, while the luminous material has developed a subtle patina, adding to its vintage character. The watch has been fully serviced by our company.

The Cal. 395 movement was exclusively produced for Tudor and had a short production run, making it considerably rarer than the contemporary Rolex Cal. 1030. Founded in 1926 as a diffusion brand to expand Rolex’s presence in the UK market, the brand name is derived from the renowned "Tudor family," reflecting a desire to create a sense of accessibility for the public. A key factor in the popularity of vintage Tudors is the use of Rolex components, such as the case and crown. Additionally, the use of the Tudor family’s rose emblem in the logo led to the creation of popular Tudor models with the same Rolex cases but dials featuring the rose logo, known as "Big Rose" and "Small Rose." Later, Tudor changed its logo to a shield motif, distancing itself from Rolex and pursuing its own path.
