COMMENT

ワンピースケースのシーマスター、Ref.14770。このモデルはDE VILLEと同様の型番を持っています。ラウンドケースにはバーラグのミニマルなデザインが施され、丸みを帯びたプラスチック風防が際立っています。ダイヤルは非常に珍しい、9つのセグメントに分かれたユニークな格子模様が特徴です。この模様は印刷されたものではなく、立体的な仕上げによって作られており、光の反射によって明暗が変化し、非常に洗練された印象を与えます。ブレスレットも特別なもので、Ref.826C、エンドリンク50です。

希少なダイヤルは全面にぽつぽつとした経年変化が表れていますが、焼けの少ないシルバーカラーでパリッとした印象です。針には上面の鏡面仕上げにくすみが見られますが、これは高倍率のルーペで初めて確認できるもので、肉眼ではほとんど気になりません。ルミナスは素晴らしいベージュカラーです。弊社にて分解掃除が施されています。

このシーマスターは、ケースの縁ギリギリまで取られたダイヤル面積が大きく、実際のサイズよりも時計が大きく見えます。Ref.14770は稀にこのようユニークなダイヤルをごく少数、バリエーションを持って生産したようです。

COMMENT

The Seamaster, Ref.14770, features a one-piece case similar to that of the DE VILLE model. The round case is adorned with minimalistic lugs, and the rounded plastic crystal stands out. The dial is exceptionally rare, characterized by a unique grid pattern divided into nine segments. This pattern is not printed but created with a three-dimensional finish, resulting in changes in light reflection and giving off a highly refined impression. The bracelet is also special, being Ref.826C with end links 50.

The rare dial shows sporadic signs of aging across its surface, but it maintains a crisp appearance with minimal discoloration in its silver color. Some slight dullness is visible on the hands' upper surfaces, but this is hardly noticeable to the naked eye and only apparent under high magnification. The luminous material exhibits a wonderful beige hue.

The watch's dial area extends right up to the edge of the case, creating an illusion of a larger watch than its actual size. It seems that the Ref.14770 was produced with such unique dial variations in very limited numbers.
