COMMENT

1990年代に1000本限定生産されたマストタンク。ケースはシルバー925にロジウムメッキ仕上げで、ホワイトゴールドやプラチナに劣らない、銀白色の美しい輝きが魅力です。ダイヤルはゴールド、ネイビー、ブラック、シルバーと強い配色を直線で切り分けたキュビズムを想起させるアール・デコなダイヤルです。当時の純正革ベルトが付属します。

ほとんど使用されてこなかったのかケースは未仕上げで状態が良く、ガラスも傷が無く綺麗です。こちら、ケースバックのart decoの文字が削り落とされているように見えますが、弊社ではこのような個体をいくつも存在を確認しております。おそらくは商標権の問題で、日本国内での販売前にメーカーによって削り落とされたものと推察されます。ベルトはクロコダイル製でタンク専用オリジナルのサイズのままに製作しております。カルティエ純正のDバックルが装備されておりますので、そのオリジナル性をお楽しみ頂けます。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

The limited-edition Must Tank from the 1990s was produced in only 1000 pieces. The case is crafted from Silver 925 with a rhodium plating, providing a stunning silver-white luster comparable to white gold or platinum. The dial features a striking Art Deco design reminiscent of Cubism, with strong gold, navy, black, and silver color blocks segmented by straight lines. This watch comes with the original leather strap from that era.

The case appears to be in excellent condition, possibly due to minimal usage, and the glass is free from scratches. Notably, the "art deco" text on the case back seems to be deliberately removed. Our experience with multiple similar pieces suggests that this modification was likely done by the manufacturer, possibly due to trademark issues before the sale in Japan. The strap is made of crocodile leather, crafted to the original size specifications for the Tank series. It features an original Cartier D-buckle, allowing you to enjoy its authenticity.
