機械式全盛期のオメガはいかがでしょうか。オメガのシーマスタークロノメーターは、コンステレーションに用いられる、高精度な機械を搭載したシーマスターです。クオーツショック前の円熟期に作られた、年を重ねても着用できる完成されたデザインです。厚みや大きさのバランスが素晴らしく、日本人の腕サイズに良く合います。ダイヤル亜マットホワイト。後年のRef.166.010ではシルバーに切り替わってしまいます。針とインデックスの間に黒色を用いたオニキスタイプで、視認性が良くキリっとした雰囲気が魅力的。ブレスレットはビーズオブライス、Ref.8220とエンドリンク11を装備しています。

How about an Omega from the golden age of mechanical watches? The Omega Seamaster Chronometer is a Seamaster equipped with the high-precision movement also used in the Constellation. Produced during the mature period before the Quartz Crisis, this watch features a timeless design that remains wearable for years. The balance of thickness and size is excellent, making it well-suited for Japanese wrist sizes. The dial is a matte white, unlike the later Ref. 166.010, which switched to silver. The hands and indices are of the onyx type with black accents, offering excellent legibility and a crisp, attractive look. The bracelet features beads of rice, Ref. 8220 with end links 11.
