クッションケースのトップタイム。防水ケースでスクリューバックにラウンドプッシャーと人気のディテールです。ダイヤルはブラックマット。ダイヤルバリエーションがありますが、センターに市松模様のあるものは人気です。インデックスはフラットでセンターを一段落とし、ルミナスを配しています。センタークロノは特徴的なオレンジペイント。一目で読時しやすいよう計算されています。

搭載キャリバー7733はカム式クロノグラフの基礎的なムーブと言えるでしょう。元々はVenus社の188をValjoux社が継承した7730に、ストップレバーを搭載した7733ものです。60年代後半から70年代の多くのメーカーで採用されていました。現行品で多くのメーカーが使用しているETA社の自動巻クロノグラフ7750の元になっていると言っても過言ではありません。

ケースは小傷のみで、素晴らしいプロポーションをしています。鏡面ベゼルとサンバーストのヘアラインの切り替えが素晴らしく、独創的なデザインを堪能できます。ダイヤルはミントコンディションです。針、インデックス、アプライドのロゴに経年変化は一切ありません。弊社にて分解掃除済みで、パワーリザーブ45時間を確認しています。クロノファンクションは好調に作動していますので、ヴィンテージウォッチを実用十分にお使いいただけます。

COMMENT

The Top Time with a cushion case, featuring a waterproof case with a screw-back and a round pusher, is a popular detail. The dial is a matte black variant, and among the dial variations, the one with a checkerboard pattern in the center is particularly popular. The indices are flat with a slight drop in the center, and luminescent material is applied. The distinctive orange paint on the center chronograph hand ensures easy readability at a glance.

The Caliber 7733 movement, a cam-operated chronograph, is considered a foundational movement. Originally, Valjoux adapted the 7730, inheriting it from Venus' 188 and adding a stop lever to create the 7733. It was widely adopted by many manufacturers in the late 1960s to the 1970s. It can be said that the current ETA automatic chronograph 7750, used by many manufacturers, is derived from the 7733.

The case has only minor scratches and boasts an excellent proportion. The combination of a polished bezel and a sunburst hairline finish is superb, allowing you to appreciate the innovative design. The dial is in mint condition, and there is no aging on the hands, indices, or applied logo. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our team, and we have confirmed a power reserve of 45 hours. The chronograph function is working well, making this vintage watch fully usable.

In 1884, a workshop for the production of complex timepieces was established in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, marking the foundation of Breitling.
