オメガから登場した、デジタル表示のクォーツモデル。内部には当時としては珍しく2つの電池を搭載しており、1970年代のクォーツ黎明期における消費電力の課題に対して、オメガの創意工夫が感じられる設計です。液晶ディスプレイには現在時刻と日付が表示され、曜日は画面下部に小さな矢印を用いて示される仕様。2時位置のボタンで日付と秒表示の切り替え、7時位置のボタンではバックライトが点灯。さらに4時位置のボタンを押すことで、時刻 → 日付 → 曜日の順に表示が切り替わり、再度2時位置のボタンで各項目を設定できます。

ケースは使用感が少なく、ファセットカットの面取りが美しく残っており、エッジもシャープな状態を保っています。風防には軽微な傷が見られますが、液晶表示を妨げる位置ではなく、視認性に影響はありません。液晶は焼けがなく、くっきりとした表示を維持。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

This digital quartz model from Omega is equipped with an LCD display. Unusually for its time, it houses two batteries inside—a design that reflects Omega’s ingenuity in addressing the high power consumption issues during the early years of quartz technology in the 1970s. The LCD shows the current time and date, while the day of the week is indicated with a small arrow at the bottom of the screen. Pressing the button at 2 o'clock switches between the date and seconds display, while the 7 o'clock button activates the backlight. Additionally, pressing the button at 4 o'clock cycles through the time → date → day, and the 2 o'clock button is used to set each mode.

The case shows minimal signs of wear, with the faceted chamfer edges beautifully preserved and the overall form remaining sharp. There are minor scratches on the crystal, but none obstruct the LCD display or affect legibility. The display is free from burn-in and remains crisp and easy to read. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.
