ツートーンでフルギョシェダイヤルのコンステレーション、ダイヤモンドインデックスにクラシカルなドルフィンハンドが組み合わされています。ギョシェとは、文字盤やケースなどに模様を刻印する装飾技法です。ギョシェ文字版の優れた点として従来の塗装面ではなく、むき出しの磨かれた金属やメッキの下地であるため湿気や汚れによる損傷を少なくすることができます。

ツートーンダイヤルの内側にのみ塗装やコーティングが施されていたため、淡くパティナが起きています。外側には一切経年を感じられません。内と外のコントラストが素晴らしいです。それに倣うように、12個のインデックスは一切の劣化がなく、内側にある針は少々のエイジングがある、コンセプトが決められているかのようなフェイスです。ケースは傷がほとんど見られず、プロポーションはかなり良いです。

ヴィンテージ時計として、私たちが求める理想の形の一つをこの時計は持っています。この質感は数十年の時の流れと偶然をなくして再現するのは不可能ですので、紛れもなく一点物となります。弊社では、ミントコンディションのダイアルと同等に、このような芸術的なエイジングを高く評価しています。

搭載キャリバー505はクロノメータームーブメントで、キチキチと巻上げ音のするヴィンテージオメガらしい機械。日常的に使い易いのが魅力です。メンテナンスに関しても当店でも自信を持ってお付き合いさせて頂ける時計です。

この世代のオメガの機械は自動巻効率が優秀なため、手巻きを必要とする場合がほとんどありません。コンステレーションのオリジナル竜頭は、デザイン性を重視しています。手巻きし難いなど、マニュアルでの操作が重い感じますが、オリジナルの仕様であり、問題ありません。

This Constellation model boasts a two-tone design with a guilloché dial adorned with diamond indices and classical dauphine hands. Guilloché refers to a decorative technique of engraving patterns on surfaces like dials and cases. The notable feature of the guilloché pattern here is its application on exposed polished metal or plating, reducing damage from humidity and dirt compared to traditional painted surfaces.

The two-tone dial exhibits a subtle aging effect on the painted and coated interior, while the exterior remains untouched by the passage of time. The striking contrast between the interior and exterior is remarkable. The 12 indices show no signs of deterioration, and the hands on the inside display a slight aging effect, creating a face that appears meticulously designed. The case is nearly free of scratches, and its proportions are quite appealing.

As a vintage timepiece, this watch embodies one of the ideal forms we seek. In this generation of Omega mechanisms, the excellent automatic winding efficiency renders manual winding almost unnecessary. The original crown of the Constellation emphasizes design, and while manual winding may feel a bit challenging, it is part of the original specifications and presents no issues.
