COMMENT

特徴的なダイヤルデザインは、大胆なダイヤモンド型インデックスと12角にカットされたパイパンダイヤルで構成されており、オメガを代表する意匠のひとつです。ダイヤル内側は控えめなマットシルバー仕上げ、外周は鏡面仕上げとなっており、立体的で豊かな表情を生み出しています。ムーブメントには全回転自動巻の第2世代Cal.551を搭載。550番台以降のキャリバーは、無駄を省いた完成度の高い機構で知られ、現在でも高い評価を得ています。

ダイヤルは写真の通り、全体にわたって細かなエイジングの痕跡が見られますが、自然なトーンで表情を深めています。インデックスやアプライドのΩロゴは、鏡面メッキの艶やかな反射をしっかりと保っており、美しいコンディションです。ケースは良好なプロポーションで、特にベゼルのエッジがシャープに残っており、当時の雰囲気をリアルに感じられる仕上がりです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

自動巻機構の完成度が極めて高いこの時代のオメガにおいては、日常使用において手巻きの必要がほとんどない点も、実用面での大きな魅力です。また1950年代までに見られた装飾的かつ絢爛なインデックスデザインは、コストを惜しまず作り込まれており、ヴィンテージならではの美意識が際立ちます。日付表示のないノンデイト仕様であることも、ダイヤル全体のバランスを引き締める要素となっており、完成された意匠として高く評価できる一本です。

この世代のオメガの機械は自動巻効率が優秀なため、手巻きを必要とする場合がほとんどありません。コンステレーションのオリジナル竜頭は、デザイン性を重視しています。手巻きし難いなど、マニュアルでの操作が重い感じますが、オリジナルの仕様であり、問題ありません。

This striking dial design—defined by bold diamond-shaped hour markers and a dodecagonal pie-pan form—is one of Omega’s most iconic signatures. The inner portion of the dial features a subtle matte silver finish, while the outer ring is mirror-polished, creating a dimensional and expressive visual contrast. Powering the watch is the second-generation Caliber 551, a full-rotor automatic movement. Known for its refined architecture and efficiency, the 550-series calibers continue to receive high praise for their mechanical integrity.

As shown in the photos, the dial displays fine signs of aging throughout, which lend it a natural patina and depth of character. The applied Omega logo and hour markers retain their lustrous mirror finish, remaining in excellent condition. The case maintains its original proportions, and the bezel edges remain sharp—offering a faithful impression of the watch’s original appearance. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our watchmakers.
