チューダークロノグラフのセカンドモデル、ビッグブロック・クロノタイムです。このケースは1stモデル「94xx系」と2ndモデル「791××系」にのみ見られる意匠で、ずっしりとしたフォルムで存在感があります。ベゼルは需要の高いベークライト製のタキメーター。サンバースト仕上げを施したシルバーダイヤルは、インダイヤルがブラック。人気のパンダダイヤルです。盾ロゴですがT SWISS MADE T表記など、随所に見られるヴィンテージ要素がたまらない一品です。パンチングギャランティー、ボックス、タグが付属します。

ケースは人気のかまぼこケースを美しい状態で楽しめます。ダメージを受けやすいベークライトベゼルは一切の劣化がありません。プッシャーのロック機能は正常に作動します。ダイヤルはミントです。気になるような傷やダメージは見られません。針やインデックスは上面にくすみがなく、美しい鏡面反射をします。ドットルムは形を崩しておらず、素晴らしいベージュカラーです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

1926年にROLEXのイギリス普及拡大のため誕生したディフュージョンブランド。ブランド名もイギリスの名門『チューダー家』にちなんだもので市民に親しみやすさをアピールしようとしていたことが窺い知れる。ヴィンテージチュードル人気のポイントはやはり、ケースやリューズなどROLEXのパーツが使われていること、チューダー家の薔薇の紋章をロゴに採用したことでロレックスと同じケースながら、ダイアルにはバラのロゴが配された“デカバラ”や“小バラ”と呼ばれるチュードル独自の人気モデルが誕生した。その後チュードルはロゴを盾をモチーフにしたものに変更し現在ではROLEXからは離れ、独自路線を進むことになる。

COMMENT

This is the second-generation Tudor chronograph, known as the Big Block Chronotime. Its distinctive case design—shared only with the first-generation 94xx series and the second-generation 791×× series—has a substantial, weighty presence on the wrist. The bezel is a highly sought-after bakelite tachymeter. The silver sunburst dial features black sub-registers, forming the desirable panda configuration. Although bearing the shield logo, the dial retains vintage charm through details such as the “T SWISS MADE T” signature. The watch comes with its punched guarantee, box, and tag.

The iconic “kamaboko” (rounded) case remains in excellent condition. The bakelite bezel, usually prone to wear and cracking, shows no deterioration. The pusher-locking mechanism functions correctly. The dial is in mint condition, free from noticeable marks or damage. The hands and indexes show no surface dullness and reflect light beautifully.
