A defining masterpiece in the history of Porsche Design, the Chronograph 1. Developed in collaboration with Orfina and introduced in 1972 under the direction of F. A. Porsche, this model is recognized as the very first Porsche Design watch. Its all-black dial, punctuated by a vivid red chronograph seconds hand, embodies a design philosophy centered on functionality and uncompromising legibility.

The case shows signs of wear, yet the sharp lines along the sides remain clearly defined. Remarkably, the original protective sticker applied at the time of sale is still present, attesting to its careful preservation. The dial shows no visible aging and retains its matte texture. The chronograph seconds and minute hands display minimal tonal change, and the luminous material on the hour and minute hands remains consistent with its original coloration.
