Commonly known as the “62MAS,” it is a highly regarded model among collectors both in Japan and overseas. Several variations exist, and this example is the type produced for approximately one year from 1966 to 1967, featuring the large crown and dolphin caseback. The case has an angular C-line form, the bezel rotates bidirectionally, and the caseback uses a screw-back construction. The grey sunburst dial gives the watch a calm and deep impression. It is powered by the Cal.6217A, a fully automatic movement without manual winding. The date can be quick-set by pulling the crown to the first position, adding practical usability.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe case is in excellent condition, with sharply defined edges and no visible dents, allowing the original proportions to be fully appreciated. The bezel shows moderate small scratches, and the insert has slight paint loss, but the overall impression remains good. The dial is close to mint condition, with no noticeable scratches or oxidation. The hands are free from dullness and retain a glossy, highly legible finish. The luminous material on the hands and indexes has developed slight tonal change, but remains intact, making this an ideal state of preservation for a vintage example.
