The gold-tone dial features a vertical brushed finish and, most notably, an extremely rare full Roman numeral configuration. The blued steel hands, a design element typically seen until the 1940s, remain untouched in their elegant form, adding a graceful refinement to the overall aesthetic. This piece is powered by the Cal. 23.4SC with center seconds, a highly uncommon specification for this "Big Scarab" configuration.

The case has retained its original shape beautifully, with the transition between satin-brushed and polished surfaces on the lugs still vividly preserved from its original finish. The dial exhibits an even and consistent gold tone, offering both vintage charm and a sense of cleanliness.
