厚みのあるケースに丸みを帯びたシルエットが組み合わされた、ヴィンテージらしい佇まいのシーマスター。ダイヤルは穏やかなパールホワイトを基調に、外周にはシルバーの同心円仕上げを施したツートーン構成。時代によって印象の変わるシーマスターですが、この世代は安定性に優れた500系ムーブメントを搭載し、1950年代らしいクラシックな意匠を色濃く残しています。ケースは「防水スナップ」と呼ばれる構造を採用しており、ミドルケースと裏蓋でパッキンを強く圧縮することで当時の防水性を確保していますが、現在は水気を避けてご使用ください。

ムーブメントはCal.503を搭載。針を往復させて日付を調整する「往復送り」機能を備え、実用性にも優れた設計です。自動巻き機構は巻き上げ時にビーズが転がるような軽快な音を立て、動作音を通して機械式ならではの味わいが感じられます。

ダイヤルは焼けや劣化が見られず、清潔感のあるミントコンディションを維持。ゴールドケースとの色調の調和は美しく、落ち着いた雰囲気を纏っています。針やインデックスは傷や曇りが見られず、当時の光沢感をしっかりと残しています。ケースは小傷こそあるものの、面取りされたラグなどの特徴的なフォルムが明確に保たれており、シーマスター専用の厚みある純正リューズが残された良好な状態です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This vintage Seamaster combines a thick, rounded case with a warm, classic presence. The dial features a calm pearl-white center and a silver-toned concentric ring along the outer edge, forming a refined two-tone layout. While the Seamaster has evolved in appearance over the decades, this particular generation retains the distinctly classic styling of the 1950s and is powered by the reliable 500 series movement. The case adopts a “waterproof snap” structure—using pressure from the mid-case and caseback to compress the gasket for water resistance—though we advise avoiding exposure to moisture today.

The watch is equipped with the Cal. 503 movement, which includes a “back-and-forth” quickset date function, allowing the date to be adjusted by repeatedly advancing and reversing the hands—an intuitive and practical feature. The automatic winding mechanism emits a light, bead-like rolling sound when engaged, providing an audible reminder of the charm of mechanical timekeeping.

The dial remains in mint condition, free from discoloration or degradation, and offers a clean impression. Its tone harmonizes beautifully with the gold case, imparting a quiet elegance. The hands and indexes retain their original luster with no notable blemishes or dullness. The case shows minor surface wear, but key features such as the beveled lugs and the original thick Seamaster crown are well preserved. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our watchmaker.
