ダイヤルはポーセリンのようなラッカーホワイト。針はシンプルなバーインデックス。インデックスは細めのバーで、オーソドックスな組み合わせです。針とインデックスの中央にブラックのプリントが施され、視認性を高めています。機械は5姿勢および温度補正機能を備えたCal.5646Aを搭載しています。ハイビートのため精度が高く、デイデイト、そしてハック機能を兼ね備えたムーブメントです。

ケースは使用傷が少々見えますが、シルエットが整っているコンディションです。ガラスに傷は一切なく、裏蓋の刻印ははっきりと現存しています。ダイヤルはルーペなどで細かく見ると、エイジングによる黒い点が見られますが、肉眼では目立たない程度です。針はくすみが少々見えますが、鏡のような状態を維持しています。インデックスはブラックのプリントが施されていることもあり、高い視認性を保っています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

The dial features a lacquered white finish reminiscent of porcelain. The hands are simple bar-style, matched with slender bar indexes for a classic and orthodox layout. Both the hands and indexes are accented with black central lines to enhance legibility. The watch is powered by the Caliber 5646A, a high-beat movement with five-position and temperature adjustments, offering excellent accuracy. It also includes a day-date display and hacking function for added practicality.

The case shows minor signs of wear but retains a well-defined silhouette. The crystal is free of scratches, and the engravings on the caseback remain sharp and legible. Upon close inspection under magnification, some minor aging spots can be seen on the dial, though they are barely noticeable to the naked eye. The hands have slight patina but still maintain a mirror-like finish. The black detailing on the indexes ensures high readability. The watch has been fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.

This is the final mechanical model in the Grand Seiko lineup—the 56GS. Known for its reliable precision and practical day-date function, it remains a favorite among modern enthusiasts. The case design skillfully balances curves and sharp lines, creating a dynamic yet elegant profile.
