ヴィンテージロレックスの中でプレシジョンラインはあまり高く評価されていない傾向がありますが、この時計を見る限り、それが不当であることは明らかです。手巻きのオイスターは薄型ケースを実現しており、袖口を邪魔することなく日常使いにぴったり馴染みます。サンレイ仕上げのダイヤルはシルキーな質感が上品で、薄型ケースに組み合わされたドーム風防はロレックスらしからぬクラシカルな趣を感じさせます。バーインデックス、ペンシルハンドという伝統的なデザインはビッグメゾンならではの風格を持っています。王冠ロゴはフラットなタイプで、スポーティな印象を与えます。リベットオイスターブレスレットRef.7205とエンドリンク60、クラスプデイト68/2が装備されています。

ケースは使用傷が少なく、非常にクリアなコンディションを保っています。ダイヤルはエイジングをほとんど感じさせず、美しい状態を維持しています。針やインデックスにメッキ剥がれは見られず、クリアな質感を保っています。夜光塗料は黒く変化していますが、形崩れは見られません。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

手巻きキャリバー1225はオメガの30mmキャリバーと比べると、小さく頼りなく見えるかもしれませんが、実際には非常に使い勝手が良く、精度が安定しています。手巻き腕時計用のムーブメントで、30mmサイズを採用しなかったのは、このサイズで精度を出すというロレックスの威信を感じさせます。ゼンマイトルクが軽く、リューズが大きいため、しなやかな巻き上げ感が特徴です。最初の一本として手に取る人にも、すべての時計を経験した末に辿り着く人にも。派手さや希少性ではなく、毎日自然に寄り添い長く使える、本質的な魅力を備えた時計です。

Among vintage Rolex models, the Precision line is often underrated, but this piece clearly proves such judgments to be unfair. The hand-wound Oyster features a slim case that fits comfortably under a cuff, making it ideal for daily wear. The sunray-finished dial has a silky texture that exudes elegance, and the domed acrylic crystal paired with the thin case gives the watch a classically refined character that is somewhat atypical of Rolex. Traditional bar indexes and pencil hands evoke the dignity expected of a top-tier maison. The Rolex crown logo is of the flat type, lending the watch a sporty feel. It comes fitted with a riveted Oyster bracelet, Ref. 7205, end links 61, and clasp dated 66/2.

The case shows minimal signs of wear and remains in very clear condition. The dial displays little aging and retains its beautiful finish. The hands and indexes are free from any plating loss and maintain their original clarity. While the luminous material has darkened to black, it retains its original shape without distortion. The watch has been fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.

While the hand-wound Caliber 1225 may appear small and delicate compared to Omega’s 30mm calibers, in practice, it is highly practical and offers reliable accuracy. Rolex’s decision not to adopt the larger 30mm size for a hand-wound movement speaks to the brand’s confidence in achieving precision within this more compact form factor. The light mainspring torque and large crown provide a smooth, fluid winding experience. This is a watch that suits both the first-time collector and the seasoned enthusiast alike. Without relying on flamboyance or rarity, it offers quiet charm and everyday usability — a timepiece of true substance.
