ブラックマットダイヤルのパシャ。大きく3.6.9.12のアラビアインデックスを配し、読時性とデザインのアクセントの両方を効かせています。針は1940代によく見られたロザンジュ。カルティエでは珍しい針の選定で、ブランドにおけるパシャの独自性が垣間見えます。思いの外厚みのあるケースは、サイズが35.0mmと適度なサイズ感です。平面仕上げされたブレスレットの独特な光り方など含めて、他では替えの利かない個性的なひと品です。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。

COMMENT

The Pasha with a black matte dial prominently features large Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12, enhancing both readability and the dial's design aesthetics. The rhomboid hands, reminiscent of the 1940s, are a rare choice for Cartier, highlighting the Pasha's unique place within the brand. The case, surprisingly thick, measures a moderate 35.0mm. The flat-finished bracelet reflects light in a distinct manner, making this watch irreplaceably unique.

To operate, the crown is protected by a screw-down cover attached with a chain, which must be unscrewed to access the crown. The crown functions like that of a standard watch: a single pull allows for quick setting of the big date, while a double pull is used to set the time. The watch is powered by a high-performance automatic movement based on an ETA caliber.

The case is in pristine condition, free from any noticeable scratches, exuding cleanliness. The bracelet and overall condition make it hard to believe it is a vintage piece.
