COMMENT

ミニチェーン付きのねじ込み式プロテクターで竜頭を覆うことで、防水性能と独自のデザイン性を両立させたパシャ。ダイヤルはマットな生成色で、落ち着いた印象を与える質感に仕上げられています。金色のドットインデックスと、鮮やかなブルースチール製のロザンジュ（菱形）針がアクセントとなり、上品な華やかさを添えています。12・3・6・9時位置のインデックスには夜光塗料が施されており、実用性の高いディテールも見逃せません。また、こちらは回転ベゼルを備えたモデルで、無骨なケースデザインと相まって、ダイバーズウォッチの趣も感じられます。

ダイヤルは大変良好なコンディションを保っており、ブルースチールの針は明るく美しい青を湛えています。唯一、時針の夜光塗料にわずかなヒビが見られますが、全体の印象を損なうほどではありません。ケースには仕上げが施されており、清潔感のある外観です。弊社にて分解掃除済みのため、ヴィンテージウォッチながら安心してお使いいただけます。実機の様子は動画にてご覧いただけます。

戦乱の時代、ある貴族の依頼によって防水性の高い時計を開発したことに由来するパシャ。現在では38mm以上の大型モデルが多く見られるなか、こちらの36mmケースは極めて希少です。カルティエらしいエレガンスと、道具然とした無骨さが同居する、日常使いに最適なファッションウォッチです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。

COMMENT

The Pasha is a unique creation that combines water resistance with an unmistakable design, thanks to its screw-down crown cover secured by a miniature chain. The dial is finished in a matte off-white tone, lending it a calm and understated presence. Gold dot hour markers are paired with vibrant blued steel lozenge hands, adding a refined touch of elegance. At 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, luminous markers enhance readability—a detail that speaks to the watch’s practical nature. This version also features a rotating bezel, which, along with its rugged case design, echoes the spirit of a diver’s watch.

The dial is in excellent condition, and the blued steel hands retain their vivid, luminous hue. There is a faint crack in the luminous material on the hour hand, but it does not detract from the overall appearance. The case has been carefully polished, maintaining a fresh and clean look. The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop and is ready for daily use despite its vintage status. A video of the actual watch is available for viewing.

The Pasha was originally developed at the request of an aristocrat seeking a timepiece with high water resistance during wartime. While modern versions tend to exceed 38mm in diameter, this 36mm case size is a rare find. It effortlessly blends Cartier’s trademark elegance with a tool-watch sensibility, making it a highly wearable and stylish option for everyday life.

While Cartier is best known today as a prestigious jeweler, it was also one of the first to venture into wristwatches, producing its first true wristwatch in 1904—long before wristwatches became mainstream.
