中国寺院の玄関にある柱廊から着想を得られたと言われている、タンクシノワ。オリエンタルな18金無垢ケースと、ホワイトエナメルのダイヤルによる、見事な東洋と西洋の折衷デザインです。文字盤は王道です。焼き物のような下地に、ローマインデックスとレールウェイ、バトンハンドのブルースチール針です。

ケースは気になるような傷や凹み等は見当たりません。ダイヤルにはカルティエ特有の、クラックが見られます。ルーペで見て確認できるもので、実際の目で見ると全く気になりません。風防には傷が見られますが、純正品です。バックルは純正品で、バンドはオリジナルのサイズに合わせて、弊社で製作しました。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

Inspired by the colonnades found at the entrances of Chinese temples, the Tank Chinoise is a stunning blend of Eastern and Western design, featuring an Oriental-style solid 18-karat gold case and a white enamel dial. The dial presents a classic layout, with Roman numerals, railway minute track, and blue steel hands reminiscent of ceramics.

The case shows no significant scratches or dents. However, there are Cartier-specific cracks on the dial, visible under a loupe but hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The crystal has some scratches but is original. The buckle is genuine, and the band has been custom-made by our company to fit the original size.

Among Cartier's iconic Tank models, the Chinoise stands out for its perfectly symmetrical architectural design and meticulous attention to linear details, such as the octagonal crown. The men's size, in particular, is rare in circulation, making it a model that seldom appears in the market. We recommend prompt consideration due to its scarcity.
