COMMENT

1970年代にのみ見られる、インデックスのない独特な意匠。ダイヤルは艶やかなブラックミラーで、高級感あふれる雰囲気を醸し出します。インデックスを排したシンプルなフェイスに、ブラックのバトンハンドとブランドロゴのみを配したデザインは、引き算の美学を体現した洗練されたスタイルです。ケース素材には〈vermeil（ヴェルメイユ）〉と呼ばれるシルバーに厚い金張りを施した加工技術が用いられており、当時のマストシリーズならではの丁寧な造りが感じられます。

ケースはごくわずかな使用傷のみで、美観を損ねるダメージは見られません。サイドに若干のメッキ剥がれがございますが、実物ではあまり目立たず、全体として良好なコンディションです。ダイヤルはクラックの出やすいモデルではありますが、本品のクラックは目立たない程度におさまっており、全体として美しい印象を保っています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

This distinctive index-free dial design is unique to the 1970s. Featuring a glossy black mirror finish, it exudes a refined sense of luxury. The case is made using vermeil, a technique in which a thick layer of gold is applied over sterling silver, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship typical of the Must de Cartier series of that era.

The case shows only minor signs of wear, with no damage that detracts from its appearance. There is slight plating loss on the side, though it remains discreet in person and does not affect the overall visual impression. While this model is known to be prone to dial cracks, the cracking on this example is present but subtle, allowing the watch to retain its elegant appearance. The movement has been fully disassembled and cleaned by our team.
