1970年代にのみ見られる、インデックスのない独特な意匠。ダイヤルは艶やかなブラックミラーで、高級感のある雰囲気を漂わせています。インデックスを排したシンプルなフェイスに、バトンハンドとブランドロゴのみを配した構成は、引き算の美学を体現しており、洗練された印象を与えます。ケース素材には〈vermeil（ヴェルメイユ）〉と呼ばれる、シルバーに厚く金を貼る加工が施されており、当時のマストシリーズならではの丁寧な仕上げが感じられます。

現在ではジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれるルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは、文字盤のバリエーションが豊富に展開されていることが特徴です。

This distinctive no-index dial design was only seen in the 1970s. The black mirror-finished dial exudes a luxurious presence, and its minimalist composition—featuring only baton hands and the brand logo—embodies the aesthetic of subtraction, resulting in a refined and elegant impression. The case is crafted from vermeil, a technique in which a thick layer of gold is bonded to a sterling silver base, showcasing the meticulous finishing characteristic of the Must de Cartier series of that era.

The case shows minimal signs of wear and remains in excellent overall condition. There are no notable scratches or dents, and the watch retains a clear and sharp appearance. The hallmark and original brushed finish are well preserved on the case back, indicating careful past ownership. While the dial does exhibit the type of hairline cracks commonly seen on this model, it is otherwise well-preserved—thus allowing us to offer this piece at a more accessible price. The hands show minimal aging and maintain a clean, attractive finish. Disassembled and cleaned by our company, this piece is ready for immediate use.
