希少な18金無垢ヨットクラブ。時計のデザイナーとして有名なジェラルド・ジェンタが手がけた一つとして知られるヨットクラブは、流線型のヘッドに張り出したドーム風防が特徴的です。耐震構造を内部に備えたスポーツモデルですが、金無垢のケースはゴージャスでドレッシーです。防水性能を示した、お魚リューズを装着しています。ダイヤルは放射状にヘアライン加工を施したサンレイ。光が入った際、濃淡の波が放射状に広がります。針はペンシルハンド、インデックスはバーでIWCらしいクラシカルな選定です。インデックス上面に黒の塗料を塗布した、視認性が考えられたデザイン。小さなパールドロップのミニッツは整然としていて、良いアクセントです。

状態について、ケースのコンディションが良いです。小さな小傷はありますが、ラグやフラットベゼルのエッジが立っています。Cラインケースの美しいフォルムが、オリジナルのまま現存しています。ダイヤルは気になる汚れがなく、光を美しく反射します。ルミナスは半球状の形を現存しています、程よく焼け理想的なベージュカラーです。針夜光は中心にかけて黒くフェードしています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

ヨットクラブはヘビーデューティーな仕様と流れるようなCラインケースのプロポーションを持ち合わせた、スポーティーエレガンスな時計として販売を開始しました。 金無垢モデルのこちらは、当時の防水技術と、IWCのモットーであるドレッシーな要素を最大限に融合させた一つの答えとして、売り出したに違いありません。

IWCのCal.85系自動巻きムーブメントは、独自機構のペラトン式を採用しています。巻き上げの際には、ビーズを転がすような音色を鳴らします。その音量は他社製品と比べて、明らかに大きいことが特徴となっています。

アメリカマサチューセッツ州ボストン出身の時計師、フロレンタイン・アリオスト・ジョーンズが1868年に創立したのが始まり。特徴的なデザインで今なお世界中で人気を誇る「パイロット・ウォッチ」コレクションなど、多くの人気シリーズを発売。磁気から時計を守る為の軟鉄製インナーケースや、IWC独自の"ぺラトン式"と呼ばれる両回転式自動巻機構はあまりに有名。

Rare 18-karat solid gold Yacht Club. Known as one of the creations by the renowned watch designer Gerald Genta, the Yacht Club features a distinctive domed crystal protruding from its streamlined case. While it's a sports model equipped with shock-resistant structure internally, the solid gold case exudes luxury and elegance. It boasts a fish crown, indicating its waterproof capability. The dial exhibits a sunray finish with radial brushing, creating a beautiful play of light with radial gradients when illuminated. The watch hands are pencil-shaped, and the indexes are bar-shaped, presenting a classical selection typical of IWC. The indexes are painted with black paint on the top surface, ensuring visibility. The small pearl drop minute markers add a neat accent.

Regarding its condition, the case is in good condition with minor scratches, while the lugs and the edges of the flat bezel remain sharp. The beautiful form of the C-line case remains intact in its original state. The dial is free from noticeable dirt and reflects light beautifully. The luminous material retains a semi-spherical shape with an ideally aged beige color. The luminescent material on the hands shows interesting fading over time. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by us.

The Yacht Club was introduced as a sporty yet elegant timepiece with a heavy-duty specification and the flowing proportions of the C-line case. This solid gold model undoubtedly represents an answer to blending the waterproof technology of the time with IWC's motto of dressiness to the fullest.
