COMMENT

クッション型ケースのIWC。角型のケースは約40mmでインパクトのある希少なモデル、腕に乗せた時の存在感は抜群です。ケースのインパクトが強い70年代デザインの時計は野暮ったい印象になりがちですが、こちらのモデルはIWCらしいティピカルなダイヤルを搭載しており、デザインに均衡を持たせています。

ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ。外周にはパールドロップのミニッツが位置します。凹状のバーインデックスは、針と同様にセンターに鏡面仕上げとブラックを配しています。スクリューバック構造、お魚リューズを装備しており当時は防水モデルとしてリリースされていました。ムーブメントは秒針規制のハック機能がついたCal.8541B搭載です。IWC独自の自動巻機構＜ペラトン方式＞は巻上げ効率に優れており、50年近く経った今でもその精度を維持しています。日付を早送りする際には、夜の12時と11時半の間で針を往復させます。IWCが当時自社で開発した最終キャリバーで、完成された美しさが魅力。

ケースは傷が一切見られず、清潔感にあふれています。写真で確認できるように、ダイヤルは1時位置に経年変化がみられますが、実物ではまず気になりません。針やインデックスはパーフェクトです。トータルコンディションに優れています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

ステンレスの塊にドレスウォッチをそのまま埋め込んだかのようなインター。ビジネスで使えば、誠実且つ印象に残るアピールになりそうです。

IWCのCal.85系自動巻きムーブメントは、独自機構のペラトン式を採用しています。巻き上げの際には、ビーズを転がすような音色を鳴らします。その音量は他社製品と比べて、明らかに大きいことが特徴となっています。

This IWC features a cushion-shaped case, approximately 40mm in size, making it a rare model with a striking presence when worn. While watches with bold 1970s designs often risk appearing cumbersome, this model strikes a balance with its typical IWC dial design.

The dial boasts a silver sunray finish, with pearl-drop minute markers positioned around the periphery. Concave bar indices, along with the hands, feature a center mirror finish and black accents. Equipped with a screw-back structure and a fish crown, it was released as a waterproof model at the time. It houses the Cal.8541B movement with a hacking function for the seconds hand regulation. IWC's unique automatic winding mechanism, the Pellaton system, boasts excellent winding efficiency, maintaining its accuracy even after nearly 50 years. When fast-forwarding the date, the hands oscillate between 12 o'clock and 11:30. This movement represents the final caliber developed by IWC at the time, showcasing its perfected beauty.

The case exhibits no visible scratches, radiating a sense of cleanliness. While some aging can be observed at the 1 o'clock position on the dial, it's barely noticeable in person. The hands and indices are perfect, contributing to its overall excellent condition. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our experts.

This Inter resembles a dress watch embedded in a stainless steel block. When worn in a business setting, it exudes a sincere yet memorable appeal.
