卵型のCラインケースは裏蓋のないワンピース構造で、ねじ込み式のお魚リューズを備え、日常使用における汗や水滴程度の防水性を確保しています。ダイヤルはヨットクラブ等にも展開されたマーブルパターンで、ブラックとブルーが大理石のような模様を描き、ホワイトプリントとのコントラストによって上品な存在感を放ちます。インデックスと針はシルバーに輝き、落ち着いたトーンの中で視認性を高める設計。日付窓にもダイヤルと同色のディスクを採用しており、この細部への配慮は当時のIWCならではのこだわりといえます。メッシュブレスレットは純正品が装着されており、単体入手が難しい中で揃っている点も大きな魅力です。

ケースは使用感が少なく、エッジや面取りのラインが明瞭に残された清潔感あるコンディションです。ダイヤルは目立つダメージや経年変化もなく、マーブルパターンの美しさが損なわれていません。インデックスや針はメッキの劣化がなく、艶やかで整った状態。パールドロップのミニッツドットは、光の角度に応じて繊細に輝き、細部の美しさを演出しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

アメリカマサチューセッツ州ボストン出身の時計師、フロレンタイン・アリオスト・ジョーンズが1868年に創立したのが始まり。特徴的なデザインで今なお世界中で人気を誇る「パイロット・ウォッチ」コレクションなど、多くの人気シリーズを発売。磁気から時計を守る為の軟鉄製インナーケースや、IWC独自の"ぺラトン式"と呼ばれる両回転式自動巻機構はあまりに有名。

The egg-shaped C-line case features a seamless one-piece construction with no caseback, and is equipped with a screw-down “fish” crown—providing basic water resistance suitable for daily wear, such as protection against sweat and light splashes. The dial showcases a distinctive marbled pattern—also seen in models like the Yacht Club—where black and blue blend into a marble-like motif. This refined aesthetic is further enhanced by the high-contrast white print. Silver-toned indexes and hands add clarity to the subdued color scheme, ensuring excellent legibility. Notably, the date disc is color-matched to the dial, reflecting IWC’s meticulous attention to detail. The watch is paired with its original mesh bracelet—a rare find today, and an important asset to this piece.

The case shows minimal signs of wear and retains crisp edges and polished bevels, preserving a clean and well-maintained appearance. The dial remains in excellent condition, with no visible blemishes or signs of aging, and the marbled surface retains its vivid texture. The hands and indexes are free from plating loss and maintain their original luster. Pearl-like minute dots shimmer subtly with the angle of light, adding finesse to the overall design.
